Eileen Shiang
Head of Uhill Secondary

Eileen Shiang is a Grade 12 student at University Hill Secondary. She participate in a wide range of activities from sports to community service.  For sports, she is privileged to be the team captain of girls’ tennis team at school this year. As for musical area, she have been in the school choir for the last 2 years and crew for school’s musical. Eileen is the founder of UHill’s Sparks of Music club in which students dedicate their time and talent to serve in the community. Other than school, this is her fourth year in Scout Group. After I got my Chief Scout Award this April, I continue my scouting journey as a Venture and I am looking forward to more challenges ahead. In addition, Elieen has been volunteering in a variety of community service. She joined “Arts Reach out”, which is a musical group performing at seniors’ home, children hearing and speaking center, etc. In her scouting experience, she led my patrol members in backpack project for homeless youth. She also conducted a number of environmental projects both at school and in the community. Eileen is proud to be a member in Green Tech Canada, whose goal is to help with our environment and community. Together she hope more youth will join us and make a difference in our larger community.
